The National Earth Science Olympiad for Middle School Students is an earth science competition for middle school students across the country，Managed by China Association for Science and Technology，Seismological Society of China、Chinese Geophysical Society、Sponsored by China Disaster Prevention Association。The competition covers geology (including geomorphology)、Geophysics、Seismology、Meteorology、Oceanography、Knowledge and abilities in earth science fields such as astronomy and environmental science，Aims to comprehensively examine and test the earth science literacy and comprehensive ability of participating students。
